Course Overview This is the second biennial “Advanced Techniques in Endoscopic Management of Sinonasal Disorders” CME symposium that focuses on comprehensive evaluation and care of diseases involving the nose and paranasal sinuses. Through the unique expertise of internationally recognized otolaryngologists, and physician experts from other disciplines (Allergy & Immunology, Neuroradiology, Neurosurgery, Pediatric Infectious Disease, Pediatric Otolaryngology) we are able to deliver a rich educational program. Specific topics include: relevant nasal and sinus anatomy, physiology, imaging technologies and their application (including radiation safety for children). We also have a special focus on pediatric rhinosinusitis this meeting. In addition, we will cover the management of sinus complications, pediatric extra-esophageal gastric reflux, headache and head pain evaluation, stepwise management of simple to complex frontal sinus disease, medical therapies for rhinosinusitis, and management of skull base defects and tumors. ......

Greetings from the AOI, Haryana
The Association of Otolaryngologists of India, Haryana State Branch is
Organising 36th North West Zone AOICON and 18th AOICON Haryana
Chapter, 2012 to be held on 27th-28th October 2012, at Karnal, Haryana
Karnal was built by Raja Karan, a philanthropist of Mahabharata. The well
known phrase, Karma Hi Pooja Hai (Work is Worship) was delivered by Lord
Krishna in this region only. In the modern times land of Karan Bhumi is
famous for National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), an internationally
recognized research centre for animals and its dairy products. Another is the
well known leather goods internationally famed company, the Liberty shoes.
Karnal being one of the best cities in Haryana for living is situated on NH-1,
midway between Delhi and Chandigarh, is well connected with roads and
railways.
The event will be full of exchange of knowledge and cultural heritage. The
conference includes live surgical demonstration, orations, panel discussion,
various awards, quiz, free papers etc. Apart from microear surgery and
endoscopic sinus surgery we’re also trying to demonstrate Cochlear implant
surgery and head neck / facio maxillary surgery.
We invite you to register for the newest experience with our nationally and
internationally famed faculty, Dr. H.Vijendra, Dr. Renuka Bradoo, Dr. Ashok
