The Association of Otolaryngologists of India, Haryana State Branch is

Organising 36th North West Zone AOICON and 18th AOICON Haryana

Chapter, 2012 to be held on 27th-28th October 2012, at Karnal, Haryana

Karnal was built by Raja Karan, a philanthropist of Mahabharata. The well

known phrase, Karma Hi Pooja Hai (Work is Worship) was delivered by Lord

Krishna in this region only. In the modern times land of Karan Bhumi is

famous for National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), an internationally

recognized research centre for animals and its dairy products. Another is the

well known leather goods internationally famed company, the Liberty shoes.

Karnal being one of the best cities in Haryana for living is situated on NH-1,

midway between Delhi and Chandigarh, is well connected with roads and

railways.

The event will be full of exchange of knowledge and cultural heritage. The

conference includes live surgical demonstration, orations, panel discussion,

various awards, quiz, free papers etc. Apart from microear surgery and

endoscopic sinus surgery we’re also trying to demonstrate Cochlear implant

surgery and head neck / facio maxillary surgery.
