when we clearly say "LYTIC LESION"..it cannot be a Mega Antrum,a well done mastoid cavity or Gun shot injury....we need to different what is being asked!!These are just D/Ds of a cavity appearance of a poorly exposed mastoid radiograph...!!

smoothness of the margins and the edges of the cavity wall seen on radiology !!!...rougher ones scale towards lytic lesions and the smoother towards surgery or anatomical deformity !!!
