Dr Kalra I write this email to inform you that after more than 3 decades of academic and clinical career at the Singapore General Hospital, I have decided to make a career shift to the private sector. We have formed a group of four ENT specialists, Dr Low Wong Kein, Dr Ravi Seshadri, Dr Christopher Goh and myself.
We start our practice with effect from 15 November 2012 at the NOVENA ENT – HEAD & NECK SPECIALIST CENTRE located at #04-21/22/34 Mount Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre. We have another clinic located at Parkway East Medical Centre #03-07, 319 Joo Chiat Place.

It is a matter of great honour and privilege for us to invite
you to the holy city of Amritsar for “1st Amritsar Head
& Neck Surgery Workshop” to be held on 8th and 9th
December 2012. Head & Neck Surgery as a speciality is in
infancy in this part of the country and there is need to
make it more popular. The field is of interest to ENT
Surgeons, Oral & Maxillo-facial Surgeons, General
Surgeons, Surgical, Radiation and Medical Oncologists,
Neurosurgeons and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons.
The scientific programme is being organised, keeping in
mind the interest of seniors as well as beginners with
didactic lectures, video presentations of common head &
neck surgeries & panel discussions. Overall, it will be an
academic feast which will help everyone to gain
academically from the wisdom of leaders in the field.
Amritsar is a popular tourist destination well connected
by road, rail and air, with attractions like Golden Temple,
Jalian Wala Bagh, Durgiana Temple and Wagah Border.
The city is also famous for its delicious food and typical
Punjabi hospitality. The organizing committee will make

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
